Abby Stamelman Hocky is a nonprofit leader, organizational consultant, and spiritual director with more than four decades of experience in community organizing, interfaith relations, and nonprofit management. She served as Executive Director of Interfaith Philadelphia from its founding in 2004 through July 2026, helping build one of the nation’s leading organizations dedicated to fostering understanding and collaboration across religious and cultural differences.
Abby recently launched Insights LLC, where she offers Spiritual Direction as well as leadership and organizational consulting. Her work is grounded in a belief that individuals and organizations flourish when they cultivate resilience, purpose, and meaningful relationships.
Abby holds an MSW from Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work and a BA from Lafayette College. She serves on the board of her synagogue, Beth Am Israel, and volunteers with NAMI, supporting individuals and families affected by serious mental health conditions.
